welsh1 Posted Friday at 18:02 Share Posted Friday at 18:02 Not a lot of work on the old computer today so in-between checking reports I made some bread. This is the second time I have made Challah bread, this was a 4 plait with a sprinkle of poppy seed, think it was time well spent.

marsh man Posted Friday at 19:44 Share Posted Friday at 19:44 Indeed it was time well spent , looks superb , If you don't eat it all , How long would it last for ? , most super market bread last for two days at the most and then it is only fit to feed the birds . Probably 3 days maybe 4, to be honest fresh bread doesn't last long enough to find out lol.

Mungler Posted Saturday at 07:40 Share Posted Saturday at 07:40 (edited) I love bread like no other food. I feed, next after bread, I love toast! Alas, I have been on a diet since Chrimbo and haven’t had a slice - not even toast with melted turkey dripping jelly and salt on Boxing Day. I have to go now, this thread and that photo is making me tear up 😆 . Edited Saturday at 07:41 by Mungler

My biggest vice is a sneaky bag of chips from the chippy by the office, the small portion is able to feed a family of 4 and i took great pleasure sitting at the desk in the office watching the harbour below while stuffing my face with great tasting chips. I haven't had a bag of chips since before christmas😪 I was losing the pounds but the bread has stalled that lol.
