steve_b_wales
I'm looking to purchase a PCP air rifle in .22 calibre. Priced at £600 max. The cheaper the better, but not stripping away quality etc. I don't need a fancy stock, and it's just for a bit of ratting, and giving my 3 grandsons a go. I've got a S410 FAC and also an old underlever .22, which is okay for a bit if fun, but I want something better. It's a minefield out there. with many good makes. Recommendations please? Mice!
How old are the grandkids steve? Is weight a factor? If your ratting at night and adding NV it's more weight again. Usual suspects, Ultra, Scorpion . https://www.airgunforum.co.uk/community/index.php?threads/full-pcp-setup-brocock-compatto-mk1-in-22-cal.334454/#post-3342742

Whatever rifle I get will be probably bench rested anyway. Thanks.
Mice!
An ultra is probably perfect then, but you'll get more shots from a scorpion, although they can be rare second hand.

I know you want.22 but if you want something different a caliber size is always a good way.
