I’ve given up coastal fowling but have voted for Chris as it was originally a wild Fowler’s association and has been a member for a long time, unlike the other candidate who has only been in four years. There should be a minimum  membership time for candidates.

May I ask why? He may be a thoroughly decent guy but has no wildfowling pedigree and has been a member for just 4 years?

I noticed the 4 year thing too so will be interested in marsh guns answer.. I did see the other guy lists wildfowling in his cv but I very much doubt he ventured on to th mud...Mr barker got my vote

Of course . I read the statements, looked on facebook read all the posts by chriss,  and asked many i knew . I am from lincolnshire and got good  feedback on Paul Mayfield. So despite the fact i would love to see a wildfowler on council, and i have great respect for chris barkers proposer.  I decided to vote for paul Mayfield.

Wildfowling is heading for real problems over the issue of consents by NE. Few of the folk on Council seem to be concerned, as they like senior BASC staff are more concerned with the difficulties of the game shooting industry. Electing Chris barker to Council might just move this matter up the list of priorities.

Just for clarification Paul Mayfield is a member of a Yorkshire wild fowling club, and that club has only tidal wildfowling available.

I was referring to the other bloke 're the wildfowling. Can't remember his name off top of my head but that's great that Paul is in a wildfowling club

??????  Yeah...   ?  If their performance so far is considered to be "helping" the game shooting industry let us hope that they do not meddle too much in wild fowling interests.
