Should be fine to fire, just a general look should tell you a lot, are they rusty, moist/damp, cold?

Mind you I've used cartridges I've found in milking parlours which were destined for the bin and they fired fine when left to dry out

Most of my carts are stored in the garage and left near the rad on a Fri night if I'm going on a Sunday

Big George D puts his cartridges on radiator when shooting in cold weather. He must have it wrong.

store in a dry cool place is on every box  if you want one to go off then by all means stick them on a radiator

Doubt they’d go off from that.
