grahamch
Am looking for a shooting seat/container with a swivel top. Shot in Orkney a few years ago with a chap who had once which looked like it was based on a large bucket. #

Westley
I made my own from a blue plastic barrel of the type used for pheasant feeders. It fits nicely into one of the large green kit bags leaving room for my cammo nets on top. My decoys are inside the barrel. I did fit a larger piece of 1/2" ply to the base to make it wider than the top and thus more stable. It has worked for some 35 years without issue. Westley
I found that most commercial type 'bucket' seats were just a bit too low. Ideally you need your knees lower than yer bum, to enable ease of standing up quickly.
