Hello, as above, great area to explore, been many times to Clare ,  there are some places with breath taking scenery , the Burren has a visitor centre, I am sure Galway has a music festival in the summer, there's a nice restaurant near the quay , all things sea fishy, my friends then lived in Ennistymon , oh and this place to watch the sunset with a nice Guinness , called Lahinch,

Never been to Ireland and believe it to be very similar to the UK and still not explored all that has to offer.  I think that everyone should look at having a holiday in the UK this summer and the next which would keep the money here in the UK and put many businesses back on their feet.

Got agree with henry d - Northumberland is well worth visiting.

I definitely have to agree with Vince, as we have been to Cornwall over 40 times.

Assuming Jimmy Krankie opens up Scotland, we do like the east coast - from Leith, Edinburgh, Anstruther, Crail and Stonehaven. Easy travelling, with relatively little traffic.

They are saying Cornwall is fully booked up already. Thinking you are going to holiday at home is one thing, finding somewhere might be another

The NC500 the other end of the country is fully booked already too!

Agree with this, although I have lived 5 miles form Stonehaven all my life and I have never been to Dunottar Castle. I think we all forget some of the things we have on our own doorstep.

Can I just say that Norfolk is complete rubbish. Nothing to do, nothing to see, %^&* beaches. Just do not come here, it is a waste of time and effort.

Ditto for the Lakes. You’re either going up a hill or down one, it’ll be raining, and when it isn’t raining it will be very shortly. The shops sell nothing but cagoules and the pubs are full of loud people with orange faces from Essex.
Best just to stay at home really.

England was always expensive, but since the pandemic everything gone through the roof, tried to book a hotel we stayed at a few times in Cornwall, but prices have doubled.

They wouldn’t let you in anyhow, scousers are getting the blame for all the littering! 🙂

We get the blame for everything, but I wouldn’t live anywhere else, the vast majority of people who visit Merseyside love the place, and still have their hubcaps on when they leave.

Through marriage, I am related to a massive clan in Liverpool. Spent many occasions in the Kop and been to a wedding evening do in the Everton 200 Club. Only one of the eleven brothers / sisters of the elders supported Everton - the rest Liverpool. Still have a relative on Skerries Road right next to the ground. On Google Earth, she is the only resident in front of her own home.

I am aware of all the Scouse jokes and "reputation", but I always found them amongst the very best people. The Koppites were probably the fairest minded of any crowd in the grounds I visited with my father in law, including Bolton, Blackburn, Burnley, Leeds, Liverpool, Everton, Manchester City, Manchester United.

🙂My near neighbours are scousers; they have given me loads of work, and a nicer couple you’d be hard pushed to find. 👍

He and me have often had a few bevies together in the village pub, and his wife who is a barmaid there is an asset to the place. Great lass.
