The look of an owl pretending his feathers aren't in a right state at the back of his head...

What a fabulous photo. It's a very atypical little owl shot. There are too many of them looking at the camera, or walking business-like. This feels a lot less staged and a lot more natural. Well played, sir, well played indeed.

Great photos GG. I agree with Chris point that the picture feels natural and not contrived like so many of the country file calendar shots
