Description

Cracking little 686 with two sets of woodwork so ideal for junior and adult, 26” fixed choke barrel with 1/4&1/4 choke (factory) I bought this probably 7 or 8 years ago with the cut down junior woodwork on it then got a very nice standard stock and forend for me to use with the intention of starting my lad off with it but he’s not interested so it may as well be sold to someone who will use it, it’s a little corker with the 26” barrels and very light and comfortable to use all day in the field , hide or clay ground, comes with approx 210 clay carts, snap caps

You won’t be disappointed it’s a lovely thing , price or near offer , sorry no rfd , it’s in south norfolk but I travel for work about 100 miles from home

  • 2 weeks later...

A friend of mine is wanting to start his 9 year old boy shooting he tried a 410 a couple of weeks ago and he loved it.

Can you tell me the LOP on the junior wood work and the weight when fitted please?

Also do you think it would suit a 9 year old? Or is this a bit to big? I know this is difficult to say as all kids are different but I would say he is of average build.

junior stock lop is 13" this includes a 5/8" pad, weight with adult stock is 5 1/2 lb, ive not weighed it with junior stock but it will be a smidge less

as you say its difficult to tell with youngsters whether this would suit him or not
