Hi lads was fishing at Llyn Brenig today and these started to show up can you please identify for me as not sure what they are 

I make my own flys but never seen these before would be grateful to now there name.

I think that this is a stink bug. Had a lot in the garden last year.

Pleased to be corrected though.

Think JTaylor91 as already got it correct, its a “two banded longhorn beetle” as below.

Yes, JTaylor91 was spot on. I was just posting a photo of a stink bug against Ditchy’s first thought, which he then corrected, if that all makes sense.

hello, I like to see that myself, but just because there's insects about does not mean the trout are taking them, best thing is spoon the fish, but what fly to catch that on 🤔😁, next Friday I shall be fishing the river Kennet , hoping the mayfly are about, 👍
