Deactivation cost

Recommended Posts

Probobly a lot more than you want to pay , Taking into consideration the amount of work that has to be done , plus shipping to an from the proof house and proof charges .

Companies like Helston Gunsmiths were[ thats 6/7 years ago ] doing them in largish  numbers so kept costs down but for most gunsmiths just doing one was not cost effective to either party .

I know of a few blokes who read up on what was needed and did the work themselves.
One did such a neat job that the local RFD started to use him for other similar deactivations.
