Don’t be silly!
I bought the house in 1979 and bought the gun in 2012 for £845 more than I paid for the house.

Her indoors made me buy the gun, “because you’ve always wanted one.”

Great I've always wanted a speedboat - I'll best let the Mrs know !

When are we getting the specs and pictures of it?  My dream shotgun would be a 12g sxs, with the paradox rifling or one smooth bore and one filling rifled.

Man, I love lose old guns how well does the paradox work?

It’s smooth bore now sadly previous owners decided it was worth more without the rifeling

it shoots well as it is though

there’s a article in the double gun journal on this gun

Samuel white baker the man who had it built once killed two bears with one shot with it

It was and very generous of the owner

it’s choking is cylinder and full not the best combination for clays

But on the right stand (a going away pair that might be doubled with the first shot and the second shot to hit any that escaped) it would be truly spectacular if the Operator is up to the job! :whistling:

They took the paradox rifling out of it ?😦    Why would they do that?

I looked for the article and couldn’t find it.

The rules in England would have made it a rifle and you would have to show good reason to own it

ive added a few bits from the article sorry don’t seem to be able to do a link
