Has anyone used one of these for cutting up carpet? Or is a good Stanley knife still king for that

I would have said a Stanley Knife and curved blade......or the Sweeney Todd Dolphin knife favoured by most of the fitters I have encountered .  I may well, get a set of those shears for cutting plastic trunking, although the fixed blade ones I have had for 20 years are still sharp, enough to sharpen a pencil. Having said that I am a bit of a tool whore
