If you have a smartphone, get the app called Picture This, it's very good.  They try to sell you the paid-for version on the screen when you first open it.  But if you very accurately tap on the "continue with free version" which, strangely, is in a very small font, you can carry on without paying - I think you get a limited number of IDs per day.  Give it a go ;)

I use an app called PlantNet which is free with unlimited views. Can use it on the leaf, flower, fruit, stem and bark, so even trees can be identified.

It’s brilliant. There’s always loads of wild flowers out in our wonderful countryside that I should know but don’t, so this is a good way to identify them.
