London Best Posted August 25, 2021 Report Share Posted August 25, 2021 I took my old Seamaster to a jeweller on the Cornmarket in Derby who was an Omega agent. They sent it away for a clean/service/regulating which cost me £235 inc. a new glass. Can’t remember the name of the jeweller but Mrs. thinks it was Browns. general grievous Posted August 26, 2021 Author Report Share Posted August 26, 2021 Ok, here’s an update… I spoke to the gentleman at TCA Watches who was really helpful and quoted £300 which I think is very competitive. Next, I contacted ‘Swiss-Serv’ following another recommendation. This gentleman is semi-retired but does servicing work for several top end jewellers in East Yorkshire where I live. He invited me to his house today to look at my watch and, long story short, he’s got my business. £280 for the service, clean/polish and re-seal and it will be ready in 2 weeks!!
