Proper joinery, very nice to see.

There are few joiners left capable of this standard.

Cheers 😎

Lovely brickwork on that house. Good work in the joinery, do you do any arched head French doors? We do not work with many proper joiners, all site carpenters or cabinet makers.

I make loads of round headed /arched doors 👍. To be fair theirs nothing we don’t make in wood . We specialise in joinery tho not carpentry if I can help it .

Very very nice.

Just out of interest, if a property has a south facing front door and takes a real pounding from the sun in summer, is there a wooden door solution that won’t warp, expand or shrink under extreme conditions?

Mines been over 78 oc in the summer to the point you can cook on it . It’s in sapele so great hard wearing property’s.
we use a 20mm loose tongue in our boards and allow a 2-3mm gap between them .
a plywood core sandwich too .
Using a 16mm rebate means I can allow a bigger gap all round and I’ve never had a problem them with a sticking door .
