As LB has stated, your gun is choked half ( bottom) and full (top).

Never assume. I've seen many Spanish and continental guns for sale in the UK that have had the chokes opened up after purchase from new. And, believe it or not, on not one of them did the British gunsmith (presumably who did the job) stamp an extra "star" to the barrels.

And unless the OP has certainty that it hasn't been ever altered I'd either pattern the thing or have the chokes properly measured. For even if definitely sure it is unaltered nominal factory stamps will, on that grade of gun, be based solely on a nominal calculation not on actual appraisal.

I leave looking at "stars" to "The Sky At Night" and Brian May and Maggie Aderin-Pocock. On a gun I ignore any "stars", "asteriks" or "crosses" and have a gunsmith measure it.

Very true.

Both my own Spanish guns are stamped half and full but I have had them both opened out. One is imp cyl and quarter, the other is true cyl and quarter.
