How do we make shooting more accessible for the younger generations with the cost of shooting?

I think the clay grounds hold the key to their industry`s future ,they have to heavily subsidise young shooters with cheaper fees for let`s say ,under 16`s etc. The much missed Tony Masters did this at Marne Clay Shoot and all of the other more commercial operations should be following that path imho. Their future is in their own hands ......

Almost every rifle club in the country has an aging membership. Its a well recognised problem

Average age in my rifle club must be knocking 100. I never go but when I do I like chatting to the old boys. Paper punching doesn’t appeal to me enough for me to drop another commitment for. I have an open license so don’t really need the club, but it’s dead man’s shoes and a closed membership so I am never going to just give up my place on a whim.

If they did an informal young lads shooting session on Sunday mornings (balloons etc) I would take my boys. But it is highly factionalised and very specific time slots.
