wymberley Posted September 25, 2021 Report Share Posted September 25, 2021 Yesterday evening I spotted something hanging under the car so sent a handy little girl to have a look. No, not straw or grass but something like a bit which should be on the car but has fallen off. First thing go to my usual garage. They take existing car off ramp and put mine on. Turns out to be a cleat which has come detached from its anchor point with a hose - I didn't ask - still attached. I asked if they could beef it all up so it doesn't happen again. Sorted in a few minutes. A loyal customer, no charge. Drove on down to usual filling station - low after a trip to Southampton and back. Busy but no queue, no drama. Drive to farm allowing man and wife with dogs to cross the very busy road in front of me. Very appreciative wave from him and blown a kiss from her and further thanks when they're both safely on the pavement. WHY THE HELL DID I RUIN IT ALL BY GOING PIGEON SHOOTING THIS AFTERNOON?
