What do you mean 'accept' as in let in , or given asylum / right to remain ?
Many are just transiting France on route to other countries, often the UK.

Anyway , its only half the story , France rejects around 80% of its asylum claims, whilst the UK rejects around 50 %, but such is the way the system works here, many go on to stay anyway, using appeals, or simply disappearing into the black economy.
But all that is largely irrelevant ....

Because the stats on net migration tell a different story.

  • The current net migration rate for U.K. in 2022 is 2.572 per 1000 population, a 11.4% decline from 2021.
  • The net migration rate for U.K. in 2021 was 2.903 per 1000 population, a 10.26% decline from 2020.
  • The net migration rate for U.K. in 2020 was 3.235 per 1000 population, a 9.28% decline from 2019.
  • The net migration rate for U.K. in 2019 was 3.566 per 1000 population, a 8.52% decline from 2018.
  • The current net migration rate for France in 2022 is 0.883 per 1000 population, a 9.96% increase from 2021.
  • The net migration rate for France in 2021 was 0.803 per 1000 population, a 11.07% increase from 2020.
  • The net migration rate for France in 2020 was 0.723 per 1000 population, a 12.44% increase from 2019.

The net migration rate for France in 2019 was 0.643 per 1000 population, a 14.21% increase from 2018

My case stands , France has more room, but economic migrants prefer the UK , because there is less chance of being sent back.....

And why should we have to accept anyone, particularly economic migrants?

The UK already has a fantastic record when it comes to offering shelter to genuine refugees, we need no lessons from the continent!

Because we need more workers to pay our inflated pensions and we are short of skilled workers.

What if they dont work ?
They become a further drain on social services.

Many of them dont speak English, are unskilled anyway , the cost of keeping , training, and in most cases , the low skilled , low paid job they 'might' get , will pay little in taxes, maybe none at all = Negative net benefit for the UK.

Are pensions inflated ?

99% of them are not skilled, so what is the point ?
The trade off , between increasing population, and impact on services, versus higher tax revenue is a fallacy.

Does anyone really believe that more immigration means more money to spend on better services ?
It certainly hasnt worked over the past 30 years , why would it work now ?

There is a huge pool of untapped labour already here, it just needs someone with balls to tap into it , and get them to work.

May as well face it we are done for? Uncontrolled immigration of unknown numbers of unknown character added to our bone idles who have never worked and never will?

Disaster ready made?

Surely the fault lies not with the idle but those that run the ponzi scheme. Who put them in power?

If we are talking about the labour party , its usually the idle.

On the rare occasions labour are in power, they usually go on an immigration drive , letting in as many as possible to try and ensure future votes.

Sometimes it even works.

Labour? Are they running the country?

We are about to go on the biggest immigration drive in history when we sign the Brexit 'Visa for trade deal' with India.

We wont be talking about a few thousand

The idea of a  visa for trade deal with India, only exists in the fevered imagination of Guardian journalists.

It's quite funny how they use this idea, touting it as something terrible, but find the thought of bedraggled dinghy riders from who knows where, as a blessing for the country?

But that's just the topsy turvy world of lefties I suppose?

They never seemed to have a problem with blairs 'few thousand' Poles and Romanians, that turned into millions of benefit claiming, low paid workers, that made home ownership an impossible dream for many Brits.

Anyway, the important word you used was VISA, these have to be granted, while they are still in their own country. Something we at least have some control over.

Another aspect of 'refugees' one the MSM never seems to want to tackle, or blatantly covers up.

2 videos from Germany 2015 and 2016 , on an issue that NEVER was addressed .

Total scum and they have already infiltrated in our nation

MSM won’t report it because it goes against the left wing Marxist lovey dovey view of the guardian readers., BBC, Channel 4, Sky, etc

Channel migrants, read illegals, swarming onto our shores as so called, asylum seekers albeit that most are young men of fighting age and very few are women & children.

Where on & when does it end?

I'll answer that, when the British public decide to elect a party right of the Conservatives!

Until then, nothing will change.

The problem with 'too far right' politics, is that since the WW2, we have been bought up to fear it, and it's totalitarian connotations.

Don't get me wrong, any extreme swing is dangerous and always authoritarian, but since WW2 , what kind of politics has been the one that has ended more freedoms, claimed more lives, and caused more division?

Even today, in the 'civilised' West, Marxists and socialists are the politics of division, and seek to curtail freedom, if their is a voice that says 'let the economic migrants come' no matter what the consequences for our society, you can pretty much guarantee it comes from the left.

Any complaints are met with the usual, 'You are all far right, racist, nazis'. When all they are is just people who want to see their taxes spent on things that benefit the country they live in.

They say the right is the politics of hatred, but the left hate the right with a passion, and don't like themselves very much either.

When do you ever see the tories call the Labour Party 'scum' or shout expletives across the chamber at question Time?

This hatred for the right makes anything right of centre, very dodgy ground in the mindset of a nation bought up on war films, that depicts the axis as evil people whose right wing madness destroyed Europe and perpetuated the holocaust.
