vmaxphil
As it's a cold/flu type virus what did you expect?, just live with it and get your annual booster 👍

The aphazard organisation in the NHS has meant some have had it and others have not. Some surgeries have been given supplies and others just 10 miles away haven't. Article in the Telegraph yesterday about the situation and the normal non replies from the administration. It becomes more obvious every day that the covid bug was manufactured in China financed by the USA. It will keep evolving and as said we just have to learn to live with it. WalkedUp
@Walker570 can you contact your doctor directly or the vaccination centre? Worth chasing up as I would bet there are vaccines going spare. The haphazard roll out is painful to watch and I don’t even need a booster. WalkedUp
https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/book-coronavirus-vaccination/book-or-manage-a-booster-dose-of-the-coronavirus-covid-19-vaccine/ Wait to be contacted.... that’s not ideal. Last time the roll out per age group worked very well, it was a nice organised queue. Edited October 20, 2021 by WalkedUp

Vince Green
The infection rate in UK is five to ten times higher than other European countries and still rising while most of theirs are falling The reason? we have relaxed lots of measurers like masks and social distancing. They have compulsary jabs, we don't its not rocket science Edited October 20, 2021 by Vince Green
udderlyoffroad
Not seen the data from the Scandi countries then @Vince Green? Falling despite no restrictions. Correlation is not causation and frankly, over application of Occam’s razor does not make for a good argument. Especially not when you’re calling for my liberties to be curtailed. We are also still testing otherwise healthy people like demented lunatics in this country, not so elsewhere.

We are assured that eventually they will be able to administer but of course in the hands of the useless administration who have to send them some supplies. As said a surgery just 10 miles away has been up and running a couple of weeks. Did I mention breweries ?

Meaning that we will be one of the first countries to experience the necessity for boosters. 1 hour ago, Walker570 said: Not at this time. bluesj
This morning on the news it was reported that the government was say no to implementing plan B this afternoon they are say yet! As it is being talked about I would say a week or ten days and we will be in lock down again.
mossy835
dont think there will be a lock down again, masks and keeping apart, may well happen.
TRINITY
What's the point of a lockdown. We have had some, they reduce the rate and then when we open up the rate climbs back up. We either lockdown totally around the world till the last case is gone or live with it.

That’s the whole point if the vaccine, to get the nation out and about and working again.
TRINITY
You daily hear pleas from the authorities for people to take up the offer of the vaccine. I dont see why those of us who have accepted the vaccine should be locked down again while there are still many out there refusing to be vaccinsted. Dave-G
Lets not forget we are further north than most of Europe and thus get less sunlight clearing cleaning pathogens from outdoor air.

I don't see why those who are uncontaminated by an experimental gene therapy 'jab' should be locked down where we have natural immunity due to prior infection. In the week beginning 23 August 2021, the percentage of adults that would have tested positive for antibodies is estimated to be: 93.6% in England. 91.2% in Wales. 91.9% in Northern Ireland. 93.3% in Scotland https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/healthandsocialcare/conditionsanddiseases/articles/coronaviruscovid19latestinsights/antibodies

However those figures above for the anti body response include the vaccinsted portion of society. I suppose herd immunity is the only way this pandemic may eventually be brought under control. The question is, what is the best way to get to that point thst causes least deaths and serious hodpitalisation. Is it to let it run rife , kill off the weakest and the strongest survive. Or do we vaccinate to mitigate its effects, save lives and hospitslisations.

You can't be serious? Many reasons, which I'm sure I don't need to re-hash. Point of a lockdown, once you've protected the national religion, is to prevent transmission. Which vaccinated people still can... That's before you get to the whole two-tier society thing...should the unvaccinated wear <insert Godwin's-law-inducing-trope here>? 57 minutes ago, TRINITY said: I suppose herd immunity is the only way this pandemic may eventually be brought under control. The thing people forget is, herd immunity happens whether it's government policy or not. 1 hour ago, TRINITY said: The question is, what is the best way to get to that point thst causes least deaths and serious hodpitalisation. Look at the Scandi countries, the least restrictions, the lowest infections and deaths. Very simply, you alter your behaviour not based on geographic region, but rather clinical risk. Note, alter behaviour, not take away freedoms.
