That is stunning.

I like the way you have done the ears especially.

Mind blowing work. There is so much talent on this site.

I know - I ain’t even got the talent to hit a flipping clay at 25 yards !?!?

to add - you have the subject caught spot on -  that look that a hare has just before they bolt ( for those snipers among us just as you knock the safety off  and you have it in your cross hairs)

Need some high res photos when you done .

If it’s a commission price there going to be one very happy owner !

No problem- I have to add I won’t take hares on my perm as there aren’t the numbers there used to be ! told the farmer and he was more the happy with my decision. From my evening walks with the thermal and ir I am hopeful that a few more have survived this year so might make a bit of a comeback!

Hello, that is ace Mr game keeper, I can still remember  when I was out shooting rabbits on a summer evening with the 410 when I was about 16 I was sat in a hollow and heard a rustle behind me and look around to see a magnificent hare a few feet away, a quick glance at me and he was gone,

I generaly avoid shooting them but here on several farms the numbers have got out of hand. Litteraly in maybe three years gone from 3 or 4 in a field to well over 20. By agreement with the farmers I have been leaving them but I have now been asked to control them. :/

Thank you oldpigeonpopper they truly a magnificent sight to see especially when they don't know you're there and can observe at close quarters...

I know what you mean oowee such a shame but at some stage if you have high numbers something has to be done. As long as you make they go into the food chain then this softens the blow...👍

If i had seen 20 in a year I would change my tune. Oowee It’s all about balance at the messy end of consversation but the hare does have a certain cocky stance!
