Hi Novice Assuming you are using the windows operating system, it's quite easy to reduce the data and actual sizes of pictures that have been saved onto your computer in .jpeg format. To save a picture in this format simply transfer the picture from a camera or a scanned image to your computer, then put your cursor over the picture and click the right mouse button, then select from the menu "open with paint". Reduce the picture size in paint, then save it as a .jpeg file. The picture is now ready to attach to your post. (see video "how to" below ). Hope this helps.
