Substantial loss of business due to this covid fiasco

I am getting reports of days shooting being lost due to positive tests wiping out days shooting three in the last week from 150 to 200 bird days totally lost and what inormation I am getting must be just the tip of the iceberg.  BUT  you can still go up to the pub so Boris says and still have your Christmas party.   Surely as these days are held out in the open air they could still be run.   I suppose the All Doomed brigade will shout me down.

Richard Gray just sent me an e mail of two days which have been effected one a complete day £7500  200 birds and I have a friend who had to cancel his driven day which they where all looking forward to..  It really is a total fiasco.  There are some making a fortune out of it and many others who will lose a lot of money, but they will still keep paying politiciams wages and those of the so called health experts(doom mongers).

Walker570, could you clarify the reasons behind cancellation. Did the guns cancel? If so why, were the whole team isolating for example,? Or did the shoot cancel? If so why, were all employees isolating for example?

Although the rules constantly change, I'm sure proof of vaccination or negative test , allows access to most activities/events.

I am interested to hear if cancellation was forced upon anyone.

As an aside, I don't really think any other political party or leader could handle the situation much differently.( Europe and rest of world are hardly shining examples either). Just a ****** of a situation all round. Regards

Your second point agree with based on what I see sat in Westminster on both sides and even worse in Scotland.

The circular I was sent regarding the whole team, indicated "due to covid"  but no further information.  The one I know of locally was cancelled because of positive tests through most of the team.  The third incident was for three guns whom I assume had tested positive but not connected to the other members.

All three of these are commecial shoots.

If the guns cancelled its their default. Other than that life still seems to be going on round here, shops are packed, garden centres are packed, winter wonderland is packed. Clay shoots are still on and they are still shooting at Bisley
