Newbie to this
My cheapo £15 ultrasonic cleaner gave up and died today, I'm looking for a replacement, something a bit dearer and hopefully better made, about 1.5-2 ltr capacity, preferably stainless steel, I don't really want to spend much over £50. Does anyone have any recommendations for a replacement? Thanks
oowee
I have a cheapo £20 unit its 5 years old and works great. How long did your last one go for?

Vince Green
Bought my one from Lidl quite a few years ago and still going strong (I will probably regret saying that now!)

That's where mine was from, the heater/vibrator was the bit that burnt out, quite literally.

Dougy
The Transducers (vibrators) are replaceable on the bigger units for around £35 plus bonding agent, getting one thats slightly bigger, more powerful, will have less run time therefore should last longer. There are some decent ultrasonic cleaners on the auction sites and Amazon around £100.

I just run my cheap unit longer if I have too but results are more dependent on the juice I put in it.
