Yes, I watched it the other week.

Great film done on a budget.
One of the ways you can tell how cheap is when they are using the stethoscope to listen for German activity. If you look closely, the end of the stethoscope is a brown Bakelite electrical junction box. You would have thought they could have knocked something better up 😂

Like a real stethoscope for a tenner perhaps 😂

I had 2 they could have used if they asked, 

Agree it was on a budget and its noticeable, but ive never been one for dissecting a film in that way, im more interested in the story it portrays. 

 

And you would not have been able to see in that much detail on my little TV 😄

It's called a geoscope (I think). My grandfather was in a tunnelling company and let slip the odd story that sounded unbelievable. If memory serves, the whole thing was an official secret until 1963, or something of the sort.

And there's a good book: War underground by Alexander Barrie. Worth a read if interested.
