Wikipedia I don't think your gun came from Somerset originally but from somewhere much further away! The Somerset Bridgwater has no "e" in it. I apologise for my spelling /typing error you are correct that the Bridgwater in Somerset England has no "E" in the name. BUT the gun has the name without the "E" and England stamped on top of the barrel along with British proof marks.
