Air tank testing

If the cylinder has a pillar valve capable of supporting diving then it will regarded as a diving cylinder. It will have to have a hydrostatic test 5 years from the date of manufacture (stamped on the shoulder of the cylinder) and a visual test half way through that period. The test date is stamped into the shoulder and the test centre will add an IDEST sticker with holes punched through month and year which will give the next test date.
