I recently placed an ad with Guntrader and I was unaware that apparently they're currently in the process of liquidation as I've been out of the country for a while and heard nothing about their present troubles. The ad doesn't appear in a viewable form and despite frequent emails and calls to Guntrader, have just been met by total silence. holloway Posted February 26, 2022 Report Share Posted February 26, 2022 As far as I know guntrader is working normally all contact details are the same I believe, they have been for me lots of the usual retailers still selling as normal through website ,I have an ad on there at the moment ,no problems encountered . I understand that this was due to potential claims against Guntrader, when their site was hacked and customers details made public. welshwarrior Posted February 27, 2022 Report Share Posted February 27, 2022 As others have said the original Gun Trader company went into liquidation to avoid claims and reopened as Gun Trader Media. arjimlad Posted February 28, 2022 Report Share Posted February 28, 2022 Since the data leak I had a couple of bank accounts set up in my name, flagged as fraudulent and shut down. I'm obviously seriously unimpressed with the slackness of the data security of the original company. My "credit rating" appears unaffected. The guntrader website & service seems to be unique, and so embedded into the gun trade now, though, that it is hard to see an alternative shopfront for RFDs.
