Contract i worked on was cancelled as it was a Russian thing, but apparently it was only "paused due to part shortages"

sanctions are nothing but lip service this country is awash with Russian money and property gump and co have NO intention of seizing it gov is paying £350 to take refugees from your OWN taxes in reality you are getting nothing talk about taken for mugs!

Wrong.  Targeted sanctions are much more likely to be effective than blanket ones, and as a bonus, collateral damage is reduced.

In this case, Putin’s inner circle not being able to get Prada handbags will, likely, have more of an effect than stopping ordinary Russians from buying, say, a washing machine.
