Another winchester 101 for the cabinet

I own a Miroku 7000 and a Winnie 101 lightweight, both about 40 years old. The Miroku may be a little more versatile because of the Invector chokes. In 45 years of gun ownership I have handled a lot of shotguns and the 101 with fixed chokes is my all time favourite. I know of no other gun with similar or better handling qualities.

I bought a m choke 30" sporter out of the mainland last week for 150£... Brought it with the intention of doing the woodwork up and using it as a rough gun....it's better than I thought..done a bit of work but plenty of life left in her yet..worth that all day long

That left handed looks nice, as does the other, but a price tag of £770.00!!😳

Mine was around 350 if I recall. Nephew borrowed it one day and begged me to sell it to him, so I did, for 350. Some years later and after it fell out of his favour for a brand spanking newer model, I told him I’d buy it back off him. He gave me it as he’d considered surrendering it just to get it off his ticket! Happy days! 🙂
