I think I'd have to get someone to fit it for me 👍👍👍

Just plug it into what is now a 12v outlet and no longer a 'fag lighter'. I have done that with both front and rear cameras. I bought an extension lead for the front camera, off  Ebay. I have concealed the wiring behind door pillar trims, headlining and dashboard. If I need the 12v outlet for any other reason, it is usually when stationary anyway, so I just unplug the camera.

Swapped my front camera from pickup on sale to van. The first was wired through the lighter output but I had the van hard wired by Halfords. Now I know what some of you think of them but they did a great job for fifty quid and that included the price of the kit.

They did an excellent job for me too. Only thing using dash cam in a pick up is off road they will store files to the sd card at every bump stop as you drive off road. Need to remember to delete stored files often.
