Speaking to my mate who shoots with me.He’s on the shoot at least twice a week shooting mostly the black stuff .He said this last few weeks he’s seen a few about .Try and get down this week looking good for rabbit casserole.

There are a good dozen or so on my permission , and a few at the golf club. I will not shoot them as it may help them to recover. 'Stupid fish who drank the pool'.

Switched most of my attention to Grey squirrels and rats.

Spent a lifetime shooting them as pest control but since I stopped growing veg they don’t do me any harm so leave them be.

Happy to say I have dozens of them. 😊 They are on their third hatch this year (I now hatch isn’t the word, is it litter?)

Cats had 3 nearly full grown rabbits the last 2 weeks. He likes to eat their brains and then snooze it off on the kids chair upstairs. Seen a fair number about, especially over the wolds and wondered if its getting to the peak in the normal 4 year ir so cycle.
