He said then that eventually they would spread north. Big problem is they have a breeding ground now I understand in all the Royal Parks and we know what effort they make to control tree rats don't we. Whack and stack. As in other parts of the country, there are plenty around here in Kent and flocks of 20 or more seen regularly in the Thanet area. They were popular pets to be kept in outdoor aviaries at one time when such things were fashionable. Thats because they were Hardy enough to survive the British winter.
