Browning 525 Magnum Proof?

Recommended Posts

I have a box of Eley 3in Magnum cartridges and states that a gun should have 3in chambers, a service pressure of at least 4 tons per square inch or a European proof pressure of 1000kg /sg cm and/or a shot load of 1 5/8oz in a nitro proofed gun. Looking at my Browning 525 i can only see the chamber length stated. On my

old s/s that has 3in chambers it also states a service pressure of 1000/ sq/cm so would assume that your gun will be ok, but that said im not pulling the trigger.
