samboy
Hi gang. I've got the chance of buying one of these in exc cond or should i put my money to something else ?. It would be going on my new rimfire when i get it. I've been using a Simmons Aetec for the last 16 yrs and love it. I do prefer a simple reticle. Thank all. Walker570
There are very few bad scopes these days. If it suits you then go for it. I have owned a variation in the last 60 years, from Swarovski through Leopold and now all of my scopes are Hawke. They suit and fit with what I do and excellent backup from the supplier. Dekers
I had the 3.5-10x50 Whitetail Classic, must be a good 20 years ago, it was £200 or £210 when I bought it. Solid construction, decent Optics, only reason I sold it was for a side parallax scope. Don't quote me on this, but they either went bust or changed manufacturing plant, but things seemed to go down hill and they went very quiet some years back, I seem to recall my scope was made in Philippines, if you get a chance check, they were/are the good ones!!
