BASC position on lead ammunition restriction proposals

Yes, that is correct. The restrictions the Health and Safety Executive have proposed for lead airgun pellets for target shooting and live quarry shooting are not evidenced-based and BASC will fight the ban. More information in the following article in Airgun Shooter:

Surely all that you have outlined in the link regarding live quarry shooting with lead air gun pellets, applies equally to live quarry shooting with lead shotgun loads. It has to apply equally to both, or neither, for the reasons outlined in the link.

None of it is evidence based just a pure sell out.  I am suprised you have a single member.
