Mandel Chokes

Does anyone have any recent dealings with the above company? Looking for some extended chokes - It's for a gun I don't use all too often, so don't want to spend big bucks.

Seems like a few decent comments from a few years ago on the forum, just wondering if anyone still recommends?

I wasn't overly impressed with their build quality in all honesty.

The ends of the chokes were quite rough with obvious machining marks, and there seemed to be more clearance between them and the factory chokes - they tended to have much more wiggle until they were screwed in tightly.  Unsupported chokes are more likely to experience issues with bulging if you ever do decide to put something heavy through them, so worth bearing in mind. 

In terms of internal geometry they are a straight taper from start to finish, instead of a conical-parallel design. There's high quality chokes in either design, but the conical-parallel chokes tend to do a bit better with steel.
