Drones to reduce boat migrants.

Several hundred grand has been spent on drones to reduce boat migrants.

Who are 'they' trying to kid? All I can see them doing is fisting money into some cronies pocket to detect migrants... when the migrants use a mobile to get border force there anyway if the French don't arrange a UK escort boat.

Desperation at its best to make it appear something is being done because France can't be made to deal with the issue in its attempts to ridicule Brexit.

Hello, this lies squarely on the French government , Macron has no interest in doing anything while waving the boat people off the beach, England seems to be a magnet for any illegal immigrant that other European countries don't want, , forget the drones they will only tell you how many boats are coming each day, getting tough on Macron ? , I cannot see that with Truss, look at how she got tough with Putin 🤔, cannot see anything happening with Sunak, now I see a French company building our new power station ??

What is the purpose of the drones dave ?.

I see no logical gain from using them other than to make it look like SOMETHING is being tried, and that its just a means of shovelling some cash into someones bank account. :ermm:
