Confused- the kofs I had was a manual safety  .sceptre  model .

I have two a 12g & .410 both auto safety. My RFD said he could not obtain manual safety models. For could not obtain, read could not be bothered to obtain.

Apparently they are available in both auto and manual, with the manual being up to a £100 cheaper.

Excellent cheap field gun I've found. Better now they're manual safety though😉

Good to know.  I’ve got two, a 28b for the boy and 12 for me.  Will get round to taking the auto safety off mine at some point. That looks incredibly easy.

If you're clever enough to be able to remove the barrels to clean it then you're clever enough to remove the little bar. Easy peasy.

On my 410 the little bar is a very flimsy rod, but peened over after it goes through the safety so will not just pull out. Simple enough to just snip off the peened over end though.

Hey Centrepin, how about the same breakdown for berettas ;)

Nice little vid!

If you're close enough to Sheffield I'll happily take a look at what needs doing. Absolutely no promises though.

I've found that with a little patience and taking plenty of before pictures almost anything is possible if you're prepared to try.
