Minky
Yep it's that time again 8pm and the light is dropping. The harvest is off. Still no different to other years when I like to go out down on the marsh river to see if there are any duck fighting onto the water or stubles at dusk. The season is only a couple of weeks away although I don't start until Oct.

Minky
Yep. Sometimes we've been out for several tours. a walk round the pens and ponds, sometimes run into one poking around. Waited around until about nearly dark just listening to the birds in the woods. There's always some spot where you can sit in the truck and listen to the woods. then drive back to the yard, have something to eat and drink then back out for a grand tour into the early hours. If it were a job we'd expect double time or out of hours but we do it for fun. Rain and cold. Only stopped by falling snow and fog. Cant see the targets.
