Wylye
Dualit. Expensive initially but they go on for ever. Very simple and if something does go wrong you can repair it yourself with spares available from the manufacturer.
TIGHTCHOKE
Well, my Russell Hobbs Toaster has been great for 3 years or so. Very happy with it.

Ours was great for exactly 3 years and died 3 weeks ago.

bornfree
I've never found a good one. Most are not large enough for normal size bread and those that are don't toast evenly.
moondoggy
Sage, best toaster we have had.

One set of new elements (easily fitted) in that time. It has two 'normal' slots and one 'extra wide' slot. Basic (in 'features'), expensive - but works well and lasts.
