snipers eye
hi all, just wondering the life span of a wildcat evolution on a 223 under normal shooting conditions, lets say 20 -30 rounds a week, and how to,and how often to clean, thanks
Jimbo yorks
No point cleaning them, most manufacturers say you shouldn't either. Round count its in the thousand I'd think. Atleast mine is!
Scully
Depends on how much use you give it I suppose. Mate has had a Wildcat on his Sako 75 since he bought it new whenever the 75 came out. It’s a .243 Win and him being a hill farmer has had countless of thousands of rounds through it. Neither the rifle nor the mod’ has ever been cleaned, the mod’ has never been removed, and it vents through tiny holes quite spectacularly at night whilst out lamping! 😂 It’s a work tool, and boy does it work! Flat as a pancake and as accurate as an accurate thing with a PHd in accuracy! Many a corvid has met it’s end thinking a new born lamb was looking tasty!
