Lewis Murray
Thought I'd flick through eBay trying to find a deal on a call before the new season came up and found these.... seems extremely new but not sure if they've been around a little bit and its just a new listing ? looks kind of like the old brass calls but updated, has anyone used these ? if you have what did you think ? any help would be appreciated Brass Wigeon whistle/ duck call (acrylic mouthpiece) wildfowling UK | eBay
aberisle
I have used one of the Henen Baude widgeon calls which is very similar to the one you have pictured, the main advantage id you can blow or suck to use the call iy beats using the old style calls sometimes when you suck you end up with a mouth of muddy water😒
guy baxendale
The old brass whistles were always rather quiet...i remember as a student attaching a 35mm film canister to the end as an amplifier! These days I have one from Muddy gutter calls and another from Lucky Hunter that are able to be blown much much louder if required.
greenshank1
I have the Helen Baud wigeon call as well and it looks to have the similar metal piece as the one you posted.
