harrycatcat1
My local where I go once a week for scampi and chips Speckled Hen is £4.10p per pint. Talking to someone this morning when out with the dog and he was telling me that he pays £2.90p for a pint of John Smith's. I don't really go out that often so didn't think £4.10p was bad 🤔 How much do you pay? I'm talking about pub prices not can's from the off licence. TOPGUN749
Depends where you go,obviously Wetherspoons is cheapest, apart from that it’s £3.50 for an average bitter,£4 for lager,or £5 for premium like Peroni. Some restaurants are very expensive wanting over £5 for a pint of any beer, but I don’t buy!

Diver One
Went to see kaiser chiefs, Blondie, Sting last night and I am told it was about 1 1/2 boxes of cartridges a pint. Going to 'Spoons tonight before seeing Kim Wilde and Lionel Ritchie. Prob about 1/2 a box in there. Equating it to carts helps in realising what a could /should be spending it on 😂😂
gmm243
Was at a quiz last night. Pint of Guiness, 2 bottles of Heineken zero, a soda water & lime and 2 glasses of white wine was £25 on the nose. Didn't think to look at the receipt to see how much a pint was. Very rarely out and even then I always drive so not sure how much it would be. When I was in Dublin at the rugby there were some places selling a pint for €8.
marsh man
I haven't got a clue as I don't no longer drink , having said that I do have a pint of Shandy when I go to the wildfowlers meeting , I used to get a fair bit of change out of a fiver , now a fiver just about cover it and it won't be long before I will have to give them a tenner as I can never hear what the bar man say if I ask him how much so in the past a fiver covered it , but for how much longer ? who knows . yates
Don't go out just for a 'pint' these days. I buy very decent IPA's and Gold Ale's such as Wainwright for between £1.00 and £1.25 a can/bottle depending on the store/special offer. Sussexboy
Down in this part of Sussex we have a micropub that sells its own and a large selection of other craft brewery beers for £4 a pint. Most other pubs are £4.80 to £5.
OGGIE
£3-30 for a pint of craft beer where I go. The John Smiths will be cheaper. It has the added bonus of being a men only club. Edited July 4, 2023 by OGGIE
Dougy
I wouldnt call John Smiths beer but each to their own, (cold tea with bubbles) Live draught beer are from 3.20 and up to 4.50 and above for the trendy pubs with carpet, then you have the lady beer "Lager" from 4.60 to over 5.20 Guinness starts around 4.
Duckandswing
A pint of Guinness in my local is £4.10 and a that Italian lager (moretti) is £4.20. We popped to Castlecombe village the other day and popped in a boozer there. For a large glass of white and a pint of lager was £27 - I nearly died. Nice view though. I'm surprised you could see the view through the tears. £27 I'd expect a full bottle and silver service for that.
bluesj
£5 a pint, a bit more for premium beers in the pub I use and that is with locals discount. cost me 47 quid for a round on Sunday afternoon!
PhilR
My village pub charges £3.50 for a pint of real ale from a local small brewery. Carlsberg lager is £4.00 and upwards for more fancy lagers. Guinness is £4.50 and Stowford/Thatchers cider is £4.20. No idea of spirit or wine prices.
