We do NOT need to send them back!

We need to stop them coming in in the first place.

This post is exactly correct.

But wasnt that why we paid all that money to France to stop them coming here ?>

Actually we pay the French to patrol the beaches. We assumed (wrongly as it turned out) that while they were patrolling they would stop any migrants they saw getting into boats.

The French saw it differently, to them the deal was just to patrol. Nothing in the agreement about stopping the boats or the migrants.

There are numerous examples on video of the French police standing watching the migrants chamber aboard the dingies and more or less waving them off.

To assume  that the French will do anything other than help themselves is infantile? Sums up our politicos and their uncivil servants well?

This situation has always been the same and always will be.

Why would they want to hinder the passage of unknowns when they can fob them off on us?

Okay, I'll ask, please explain how easy it is to solve?

If the French took them straight back, immediately with no question initially it would cause more difficulty in Calais.

However, in the longer term, once the realisation that it was never going to work got through to them they would stop heading to Calais.

Then the French problem would be solved as well.  WIN - WIN

Spot on and if the rest of the EU did the same the entire continent would stop the illegal immigration problem overnight.

The solution however is still simple, drop them on a French beach whether the french agree or not. We'd get called hurty words and the french might make crossings difficult ect, but ultimately, migrants would stop trying overnight.

The problem for Europe is much bigger and requires a consolidated approach.  The real cause is world population growth and what does the world do with all these excess mouths to feed? Because they are not going to go away and they are not going to stop coming.

An article I was reading some time back suggested that there may be as many as a hundred million disenfranchised young men in Africa  alone.

Disenfranchised in that context often means they are the second or third sons that didn't or won't inherit the family land or business so have to move elsewhere so seek a life for themselves.

Third world population.

Before the west started poking its nose in with third world health and food issues a large amount simply did not survive past childhood and a large amount of those that did rarely lived to what we would term old age.

Maybe so, but the reason we are being invaded is our own spineless politicians.

Asylum seekers or failed asylum seekers awaiting the outcome of an asylum claim or further submission cannot work as an employee or a worker, even for a voluntary organisation, unless they have been granted permission to work under Paragraph 360 or 360C of the Immigration Rules.

I do wonder how they are managing to get a job. The above is from HM Gov's own website.

Your having a laugh, the vast majority of the illegals that have come here will likely never see themselves as British and would be on the first flight back to the country they supposedly fled from if they were required to fight for the UK.

Newbie to this - I have seen that, but have they been given that permission and why?

Yes, 16,000 of them have,  as to why, my guess -

Big business wants cheap labour, our 'government' is providing it, at the expense of the tax payer.

It used to be provided by the EU, again courtesy (in part) of the tax payer.

It's an absolute joke, but don't worry Labour will make it all better :whistling:

100% the strings that suspend them are held by the likes of the WEF, WHO etc. It does not help matters that HRH also supports the ideals of the WEF.
