benbaikal
just thought if anybody has any information on what is needed to transport guns from fod to customer as i have seen a few threads where people have been struggling to find a courier and i thought i would take a look at it as a business venture ie licences / insurance what would be required

Oly
Can't say I've ever found there to be a problem. I know that TNT do it, and they're pretty big.
Cranfield
Your best bet would be to go into your local Gunshop, have a chat with them and see if there is a problem with their current service. They should also know about the documentation requirements. In the past (admittedly some years ago), I have used Parcelforce and TNT without any problems. jayward
tbh its not that viable you can have a firearm delivered from your own local rfd to the new owners rfd "most people will have a local shop" .. for say 40/50 notes thats paying the fees each side inc postage ,,Theres a rfd network set up to assist the air gun trade so more and more rfds will be popping up they also can trans firearms and shotguns , you will need to be a rfd @ the very least and then like you say insurance etc etc more hassle than its worth in my opinion .. there wont be to many people who don't live locally enough to a rfd to warrant this ... unless i have got it wrong what your asking
