Just trying to give you advice as are others with real world experience, if you chose to ignore it fine.

£300 is my guess.

£135 just for the forend (beaver tail) then couple of pound for fitting

What a shame Gerry78  I have just sold one on Ebay for £70 it was used glad to hear you have got one sorted I also liked this style of forend more to get hold of .

Thanks tides edge it’s a pity I didn’t know The beaver tail definitely fits my hand better as well As in my previous post the gunsmith fitted a damaged forend just to try and it changed the whole feel of the sporter He actually told me when the beretta sales man was in the shop last year and asked if he had any suggestions the gunsmith told him that a lot of people would prefer a beaver tail over the Schnabel for  New silver pigeon sporters Something to think 🤔 about 👍

Well done. It’ll be great to have a gun that feels right. Makes a big difference.

I must admit that I was expecting a much wider one being a beaver tail but that certainly looks the part and has been nicely made. Lots better than a schnabel in my opinion.

Well done for persevering with it and thanks for posting.
