nellywinner
Bought a used Air Arms S200 Mk3 in .177, put a 30 quid 3d printed magazine on it from the bay. The magazine works faultlessly and has transformed the rifle into a great tool. It is pellet on pellet at 35metre...cant fault it.

Hello, I agree Vince, i keep mine topped up to keep the seals tight , not had any fail yet, The SMK XS 79 177 I changed to HPA , even that holds Air , A cheaper way to get a PCP rather than use CO2 , Although I do not use now as 177 is so fiddly to load now for me,

That a lot of products made now are at a lot better tolerance.

Mm, one I tried recently from a supplier who supposedly checked every one wouldn't cycle in an aa410

I think that fella is on the Agf and does a lot of testing to make sure his magazines work well 👍

rellum Posted Wednesday at 10:26 Report Share Posted Wednesday at 10:26 As someone has already said on this thread BSA Ultra this one’s 177 single shot the MMC It’s deadly accurate light, simple to use and is not pellet fussy

Don't normally carry them home tbh, if you need to check zero etc then allow for the power curve you're going to start worrying, 40 shots tops is not really practical IMO for serious hunting and even worse for plinking/target work. You were asking about buying your first PCP and the Ultra was mentioned, I simply pointed out that it may not be ideal but if you are happy with the shot count fair enough. Trumpetier Posted yesterday at 08:56 Report Share Posted yesterday at 08:56 The only Ultra in .177 that I've had 40 plus shots out of, is the newer CLX got over 50 out of it. Every other Ultra I've owned in .177, it's been more like 30-35. I get 40 out my single shot MMC, but that's in .22.

Seeing 3 magpies attacking the moorhen chicks when they were on the lawn and the crows making the barn owls life a misery has spurred me on to getting a decent one. Have a shot gun but too many horses here. I like the look of the Daystate wolverine forester in 177. Any pros or cons anyone got or had one. Any info much appreciated Hello, How did you get on with getting a PCP ??
