Nothing wrong with that Simon , that would make a nice shoot lunch , warm and filling and if it was extra cold you could eat the mustard 😋, Is it Colman's old English Mustard ?

Good meal, pie, mash and veggies.  I love my sprouts - but not yet had any this season.  Still a few in the freezer, but they are never so good once they have been frozen.

Lidl used to do some superb frozen sprouts, not sure if they still do though.

Thanks.  I usually freeze my own as (living on my own), I often have more sprouts than I can eat fresh.  If you eat 5 at a meal, there are a lot of plate fulls in a supermarket bag of sprouts!  I trim the stems and outer layer, blanch for a few seconds in boiling water, then cool very quickly and freeze in (very lightly vacuumed) vac-pacs.  Cook as normal after defrosting.

They are OK, but the texture isn't quite right when they come out and I would put it that "they are better with gravy".
