We were given this vindaloo sauce pack.

There was a pork shank lurking in the freezer, so the pork plus the sauce, a splash of red wine vinegar, some mushrooms and a can of coconut milk went in the slow cooker overnight.

The pork became melt in the mouth and fell off the bone.

A few green beans from the veggie patch were briefly microwaved and added.

It was delicious.568532011_0_640x640.jpg.860cdbafdf13ed3631c3cc6988553710.jpg7262024132551.jpg.e6e25d2d9d329ff568d067531496a656.jpgIMG-20240826-WA0000.jpg.7ddc79e4b5d7c58f80bebc1dec833eab.jpg920b0d5a-8900-4c8c-8536-cc3d8592a840_657464120.avif920b0d5a-8900-4c8c-8536-cc3d8592a840_657464120.avif920b0d5a-8900-4c8c-8536-cc3d8592a840_657464120.avif920b0d5a-8900-4c8c-8536-cc3d8592a840_657464120.avifSku_26_comp_600x.png.c9f623ccbe2eaa84bf3f31bcf11cc695.png

never had a pork curry.........ive used "spice tailor"...its good.......

Goan curry, so it had to be pork. Pork is such good value. The whole meal came to less than a tenner and we still have two more helpings now in the freezer for another day.

I'm impressed with Spice Tailor - our daughter gave us the Keralan one a couple of weeks ago, to which I added king prawns.

You will never see it on the menu in the mainly Muslim East Bengali restaurants, on whose cuisine most British Indian restaurants are based.
