There was a pork shank lurking in the freezer, so the pork plus the sauce, a splash of red wine vinegar, some mushrooms and a can of coconut milk went in the slow cooker overnight. The pork became melt in the mouth and fell off the bone. A few green beans from the veggie patch were briefly microwaved and added. It was delicious.920b0d5a-8900-4c8c-8536-cc3d8592a840_657464120.avif920b0d5a-8900-4c8c-8536-cc3d8592a840_657464120.avif920b0d5a-8900-4c8c-8536-cc3d8592a840_657464120.avif920b0d5a-8900-4c8c-8536-cc3d8592a840_657464120.avif Edited August 26 by amateur

Pork is such good value. The whole meal came to less than a tenner and we still have two more helpings now in the freezer for another day. I'm impressed with Spice Tailor - our daughter gave us the Keralan one a couple of weeks ago, to which I added king prawns.
